I own a mountain rifle in 7mm-08, my father owns a mountain rifle in .270. The mountain rifle is my favorite gun for the woods. It's nicely balanced and light enough to carry around all day. The rifle also shoots 1" 3-shot groups out of the box with factory ammo. The trigger is adjustable and I have mine set to a crisp 4lbs. I also like the detachable magazine, a very nice feature!
