Default Barneys Frame + Cabelas Bag= Cabarney's back pack

Hello
I have been playing around with different back packs for the last 2 months. I thought I would pass on "my personal" preference on the ones I have played with.

The end result I have come up with is a back pack I call Cabarney's. <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
I took a frame from Barney's Sport Chalet and a Alaska
III
bag from Cabela's.

The bag has 7 different pockets, one of which will hold a rifle or a shot gun in Blain's case. Also has a day pack built in that sits on top of the bag. You can remove the day pack and the main bag still closes to keep the rain out. You can also remove the entire
bag from the frame and it has shoulder straps tucked in the front so you could have some one else pack it while you are carrying the frame with meat or wood, etc. Cabela's also thought ahead, they put a built in rain cover, which covers the entire back of the bag. The bag alone cost's $90.00 See the Pictures

The frame is a Contour Freighter Frame, which I purchased from Barney's Sports Chalet in Anchorage Alaska. They can be reached by Phone at (907)-561-5242. Barney's is claiming to be getting a Web page built soon.

Barney's start with a Camp Trails frame, and then they add a few extra touches to it. The main modification I liked was the way the shoulder straps could be adjusted and the way they hooked them to the frame ( suspension ).

I also purchased a Rifle Packer that bolt's to the side of any Camp Trails frame. I purchased it at Barney's for $50.00.

I chose Barney's frame over a stock Camp Trails and the Cabela's frame. The price for the Barney's frame was $219 and they didn't rip me on the shipping I also have a few
pictures for those of you that want to see what a Barney's frame looks like.
