film rewinding
#1
i went to check check my stealth cam today and found 25 pictures taken and my film can only hold 24 so i checked to see if it was rewinded which it was so i did it manualy, but when i opened the camera there was about an inch to two inches of film stickin out, like when you first open a film canaster it looked exactly like that, so i just pushed the rest in. my question after all that is is the film still going to be ok?

Since you got a stealth cam it is more than likely the film was never advanced to begin with. This is a common problem that company. The event counter kept working. MAKE sure once you put the film in and advance it does NOT show "E" on the screen. If so, it did not advance it. The film roller where the film wraps around only has two prongs and usually doesn't catch the film. I went through two of those junk units. One was returned for the same problem and stuck with one for the same reasons. I've only ever managed to get 1 roll film of decent pictures. I bought a Deer Cam Vision and love it!! They are worlds apart as far as quality!
