Default BURRIS OR LEUPOLD?

I'm getting ready to purchase a scope to go on my RSRH. I've been looking at a Burris 2-7x32mm and a Leupold 2.5-8x32mm in the cabelas catalog and can't decide which to get. Any suggestions on which is the better scope or any other recommendations?

Not sure about either one, but....I've heard leupolds customer service is second to none. I've heard of them replacing scopes/binos even when they are a few years old. Even on minor problems. FYI

I’m not familiar with with Burris scopes so I would lean more towards Leupold because the have excellent customer service if need be.

YOu must be talking about the 2.5-8x36 VXIII scope. I would go with Leupold as their Customer SErvice is well worth it. The scope optically is a better scope then the Burris as well. If you don't want to spend that much money look at a VX-II 2-7 they have the same lenses as the Vari-x III model and should rate in the low 90's as far as light transmittal.

Leupold all the way.Leopold has a nice M8 ERR2x 20mm scope for around 220.00 in the Silver finish.I have it mounted on a new Ruger SBH Hunter. It's still unfired so I can't tell of it performance. I like the Leupolds.I'm sure this one will be like all the others I have First Class. I was going to buy the 4 x but was advised by many to go with the 2x instead for whatever that's worth.
