Checked out the Winter gear this summer
First checked out my 10 year and older gear last winter. Passed the test.
This June I looked at an extensive catalog on some of "the best of the best" and thought of new ways to make my older gear better.
Did a complete diy waterproofing with spray silicone. Some of the items done.
DIY waterproofing
1- Hunter Orange Parka
1- Backup hunting parka
2- Rain parkas
1- Uninsulated leather boots
1- Insulated leather- rubber boots
1- Insulated rubber boots
1- rain-snow pants
1- pair military mittens
1- another pair of uninsulated leather boots
1- pair of insulated wool gaiters, to go with uninsulated boots
Since they all fit, it would be a waste not to use them.
Plus, I'm retired, and don't waste money.
