Backpacks opinions wanted
I was wanting opinions and testimonies on what types of backpacks you use. For the past decade I used a Bass Pro Redhead backpack for my hunting needs. It would store basic hunting stuff and it worked fine however it needed replaced. I picked up this Fox Tactical Medium Pack last week to get me by and I like the concept. Multiple compartments with molle attachments and options for a hydration bladder, it has some nice features. The problem is this pack will likely not stand up to the abuse. Did some online window shopping and seen Maxpedition offers a Falcon 2 pack which is identical but costs $139.00 and is a quality offering. It has great reviews for many applications. If I am going to spend that much a discussion on the matter is in order.
To its fullest my pack will store toiletry, cutlery, ropes, flashlights, calls, basic survival items, extra clothing, water, snack food, a small propane stove, small aluminum pots and something to heat up to eat and drink. It would be a lot to fit in a medium pack but I would rather keep it compact.
