Default PETRO based Permethren???

If i buy and mix up,say Gordons permethrin, and spray my hunting clothes am i going to smell like a Kerosene heater or a Semi truck in the woods????
Hmmm,if so,that would be a heck of a cover sent,right?

Yes, the mixes that contain petroleum distillates do have a strong odor even when dried. See my post in the thread "DIY Permethrin" to see a water based alternative.

My clothes are odorless once dried.

I guess your individual results might vary. I could still detect a strong odor until switching to water based.

go to www.doyourownpestcontrol.com order 36.8% permethrin @20bucks a quart (ships free) mix it to .05% to treat your clothes, I mix it way stronger than that to kill any pest with 6-8 legs and never noticed an odor, works well for ants, spiders, stinkbugs, ladybugs, bees of all kinds (watch it around honeybees)

RR, I'd be careful mixing it stronger than .08% on anything that is touching your skin. That stuff is a known carcinogen along with other bad mojo's. Been using it for years myself and love the stuff but you have to be careful with it.

Super as long as you let it dry you should be okay. Ever use Bio Spot on your Dog? That is 65% Permethrin and then we pet and play with them all day long.....
