Field & Stream is I believe D!ck's house brand for their hunting/fishing gear. I have picked up some gear, some neoprene boots, a pair of pants and a hunting pack. I guess it's ok stuff for the $$. The boots are only fair, I will definiately pay more the next time around for something that fits better and holds up longer. The backpack I got was actually pretty good - well thought out, and made with decent materials.

In short, it depends. I admit I am not a very big fan of D!ck's but it and Wally World are the only games in town.

I bought a set of camo bibs and jacket 5 years or more ago. I love them. The jacket has a liner that can be taken out and warn if it is warmer and you need something lightweight. They keep me warm and dry and have held up very well. If and when I need a new set I would definitely by F&S again. I sat out this past Sunday in a light misting rain and stayed dry. Never been out in a downpour.

I've got some of their rain wear, also some insulated bibs. They've held up fine, especially for the price.

I used to read their magazine a lot back when Ted Trueblood was writing for it and Warren Page was shooting editor.

If "Field and Stream" puts their name on a product, you can bet it's gonna be pretty darn good.

The magazine and the D*ck's sporting goods store's exclusive line of hunting gear are not related.

I have a few things that are F&S gear from D*ck's. Tree stands, blinds, hunting pack, maybe a few other items. Nothing very fancy, and not the highest quality materials, but well constructed with what seems to be a good attention to detail and quality control. For the price, it's all probably better quality than would be expected. Really like the larger of the two F&S treestands we have, as well as the "Magnum hunter" blinds we have.
