Default the Best Machete I have ever used

The Schrade Survival Bolo Machete SCHBOLO is the Best Machete I have ever used. The overall it's a great product works well from thick vegetation to branches and small trees. The weight distribution is right on point making cutting very easy. My only nock is the price and the shoulder strap does not tighten enough to make it snug against my body.

I use a cold steel machete. That thing is awesome. I use it for everything from splitting small logs for fire, cutting paths to stands, knocking stuff out of the way, everything. I use it so much I get the blade sharpened a few times a year just so its always fresh. that thing never leaves my side. Cold Steel is a good company has a lot of products and is very affordable.

I don't own one anymore but I have a good machete story.

I was in Atlanta visiting family and had a machete in the back of my pickup that I had long since forgotten about. I'm right downtown looking for parking to visit someone at Grady hospital.

I'm at a red light and there are 4 or 5 democrats on the sidewalk waiting to cross at the crosswalk. These dudes noticed the machete laying in the bed of my truck and eased up next to the truck bed looking at it.

I still didn't know what they were interested in but I quickly went to Defcon 1. Out came the .44 from under my coat laying on the passenger seat. Not pointed and deployed but very visible.

The brothers did nothing of course but if they bothered to look at my tag they are probably still wondering where the hell Wyoming is and what kind of rednecks live there.

I later figured out what had drawn their attention to the bed of my truck. LOL

You will possess NO MACHETES! All machetes shall be mine and mine alone.

You will lay you machetes at my feet and run. Run as fast as you can while you still can.
