Bonesaw

What's a good bonesaw for cutting the antlers off the skull or cutting the head off the neck? Saw a buddy use a hacksaw to cut the antlers off the other day & it looked like it worked pretty good.

I've been using a Gerber folding saw with interchangeable blades from wood saw to bone saw for about 12 years and the blades are still good.
Paid about 15 bucks at WalMart.

A reciprocating saw works wonders too. I have used corded and cordless ones with a multi purpose blade. I also use a Wyoming saw if I manually have to do it.

If I have to take the deer out I use a saw-all. If I quarter in place I like the gerber saw folding saw to remove the antlers

What blade do you use for bone on the sawzall?

I like the Wyoming II packable bone saws. They are light, pack good, assembly in seconds and are great saws.

On my saw-all I usually have a 9" bi-metal blade just because thats what I have laying around.

My idea on saws

is to find them at a hardware store.
