Accura V2 primer pocket question
I am completely new to muzzloaders and just bought an Accura V2 after going around in circles for months trying to figure out what I wanted. I will be firing it tomorrow (Sunday) for the first time to figure the load out and dial it in.
My question is this, do other manufacturer's 209 primer pockets seem as loose as the one in the V2? I know that some people complain about the breech plug turning black when firing it and just wondered if this is what contributed to it. I also bought a Blackhorn209 breech plug because that I what I am going to use and the primer fits in that just as loose so apparently that is CVA's spec. I read somewhere that you can put an o-ring back by the firing pin cover to help with the blowback if you have that problem but I have no idea where I read that and cannot remember the size of the o-ring to use.
If anyone can enlighten me on this I would greatly appreciate it.

I find it truly amazing that out of the 52 views that this post has had since I created it that nobody has a 209 primer muzzleloader and could tell me how their primers fit. I have since shot mine and know the answer to my own questions. I joined this forum after seeing how people seemed to reply to others questions but I guess not. Maybe I'm not in the loop. I'll find another forum for hunting and gear discussions. Good luck hunting.
