i have a nikon riflehunter. great piece. nikon makes alot of great equipment but everyone has their own brand they love. i would suggest whatever one you get try out one that has the angle compensation with it. it comes in handy when you are hunting out of a treestand or shooting from a hill upwards or downwards. the actual difference in distance when your in a position like that is usually not much but every inch counts. for example if you range a shot with your bow or gun from 45 yards away the regular distance might be 45 but in a treestand shooting down and out it might be 46.5 or something. it is usually not far off but you never know and that extra yard or 2 could help or hurt you.
