I was thinking about making a power generating shoe using some simple gears and micro motors. If I could recharge smaller batteries for my gear while moving between blinds it might be helpful. Thoughts/ comments/ concerns?

Is the amount of work you put into walking 1-3 miles enough to give you an adequate charge and tak ethe discomfort of having the mechanism in your heel?

Or would you be better off making a hand crank machine?
