To all who can help,
I have been looking at the camtrakker for 5 years now but have never been able to afford one while in college. Now that I have graduated I am looking to buy a camera. Does anyone own a digital camtrakker, other digital camera, or regular camera? If so, can you please offer your opinions.
Thank You!

My buddy got some cheapie $70 cameras that took a nice picture of a 150' s, 160' s deer. The key is if you have time to develop the film, or have to see it then. If you have to see it the minute you check it, spend the extra to get a digital. BE SURE TO GET ONE THAT HAS A GOOD DELAY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU SET IT UP AT A BAIT SITE. SHORT DELAYS WILL LEAD TO A DOE USING UP ALL YOUR FILM!

We own 2 Camtakkers, a ' 01 model and a ' 03 model.
We are always impressed with the clarity of the
pictures. Up until now, I would have given them
" 5 stars" across the board, but our new camera
is giving a ' double flash' every time it takes a
picture. This definitely has affected the animals we' ve
got pictures of[:@]. We have tried several different
modes, and it is not on ' red eye reduction' , with
no success getting rid of the double flash. I plan to
call Camtrakker this week and see what they say,
don' t want to say it' s the camera' s fault yet....
hopefully it' s just something simple we' re overlooking[
