Default cheapest .223 ammo????
looking for the cheapest ammo for an AR just to plink etc. Found green tip for .50 each, anyone have a source?

Walmart tul ammo 4.97 for 20. Steel casing instead never had a problem with it though

i can get 5.56 for 7.50 per box from my local sporting goods store... it equals about .38 per round but i can reload my own for about .20 per round.... reloading for plinking is the way to go.....
