Has anyone bought or had an opportunity to check this blind out first hand. It appears to be very well made and well thought out. The most appealing thing to me is the thermal lining for cold weather hunting. Unless mistaken this is the first blind that has crossed over from the thermal fish house concept giving cold weather hunters a warmer more comfortable tool.
I have used a few blinds on cold days and in each case comfort was lacking even with a sun flower heater.
Any thoughts on Clams new offering ?

Don't think the heat liner will do much good without a heat source like a portable heater.
Without a heater as long as the blind blocks the wind won't really matter what the blind is made of.
And at 27 lbs not something I would want to carry often or for long distance.

You are correct. I have a Buddy heater that I use in the fish house. It would be perfect in this blind. I am guessing unless people hunt in 0 degree weather some of the benefits of the blind may be lost.
The weight is something that I didn't give a lot of consideration to, although the clam is only about 5 pounds more than a Double Bull. Thanks for pointing that out!

I've never used one of these blinds but it looks great. I have a couple of blinds, but by far, this one looks easier to set up and take down. The features are awesome. Like the magnetic windows. Mine don't have this feature. Looks to have plenty of room to bow hunt out of. The only issue I have with blinds is they should give you T-handle stakes to stake the things down. Too many times, when I go to take my blinds down for the year, I lose the stakes because of snow or the wind blew the blind off the stakes and you just can't see them. I lost 6 this year.

Was planning to get a blind to use in the cold weather as a wind shelter or to keep out of some 40 degree rain. Some four -five days in a row hunts, don't get ideal weather all the time. In part or whole.
Sat on a few stands, out in the open, in the snow, where the temp was below 0. Old bones will need some protection.
