Moultrie Vs. Cuddeback
Looking to buy a new trail camera. Only wanting to spend around $150, $160. I had bad luck with moultries in the past( ones with the big 12v batteries) have not tried a cuddeback, too much$$. What do recommend. Thanks.

I love my Bushnell Trophy Hunter 8MP. It's packed with features, takes great pictures, and I'm still on the original batteries after well over 2000 pictures from last season. The night pictures are average like all the other cameras, but the daytime pictures and the motion sensitivity is great. I tried a Stealth Cam Delta 8 as well - Don't waste your time...it was junk. Good luck and let us know what you end up with and if you like it.

I've been buying the refurbished cuddy backs from sportsman's guide. They seem.to have the same quality as new at about half the price. Like squirrel said I didn't have any.luck with the wild game innovations camera that was a few years ago but I love my cuddy backs

Bass Pro is running a special right now on the Cuddeback Capture for $99. I have 15 cameras and 10 of them are Moultries, the other five are Captures. For extra bells and whistles go with the Moultries, for just a basic camera with quick trigger speed and good battery life go with the Cuddeback Capture.

I have 2 bushnells and stealthcam. None of them can compare to my cuddeback, and nothing gets past it. I've gotten pics of turkeys in a mid-air fight. And caught a buck charging another buck. I won't buy anything else now. They are well worth the money.

I bought a Moultrie and it lasted about a year. Since then I have went with Cuddeback. 2 of my older Cuddebacks quit this summer, Cuddeback offers a buy up program so I was able to send in my junk cameras plus $115 and get the new Attack. Got to looking and bought a junker on ebay for $40, guess what I am gonna do with it???
