Does anyone own one of these? What do you think of them? I am considering purchasing one as I hunt alone most of the time. They are a bit pricey but I figure that its worth it.

Are you referring to devices like the Spot personal tracker? If so, I have no personal experience with one, but I read the Adventure Rider motorcycle forum and guys on there travel all over the back country and the world and use them. Many post their tracking pages so others can follow their progress.

yeah. I looked at the SPOT. But was told that they don't have a very good signal when you're in the back country.
