the batt power is good, i dont leave it on the whole time, but after a few hours my feet are ice ....so i turn it on fer about 30 minutes to warm up ....and again in few more hours..also keeping the upper body warm helps keep the feet warm, as the human body shuts off circulation to the extremities to keep the boiler room hot...so a lil xtra wool up top, not down below.

Ditto on "Toasty Toes". My style of hunting is to slip in and then a lot of hours sitting still. As I have aged, the circulation has dropped off a bunch !! Toasty Toes have worked superb for me for years and they last pretty much all day. A spare pack or two takes up little or no room in a day pack, and weighs essentially squat.

Ditto. AC boot blankets don't work with heavily insulated boots though, there has to be heat from your feet to reflect back toward your feet for them to work. I've used heated socks and heated insoles, both made my feet sweaty and cold.
