Default Which of these bullets should I get?

I'm not sure if it matters, but I've recently bought a Thompson Center Bone Collector Muzzloader.

I'm not a big fan of the plastic "sheeths"...

I cant decide between 2 bullets.

Maxi-Hunter Conical All Lead Projectiles

or

Maxiball Superior Penetration

I would be using it mostly for deer. I'm wondering if one "shape" is better then another.

What grain should I shoot? is .275 enough? 350?

looks like the balls 50 cal weights are 320 and 370?

(I would be using pyradex pellets if that matters)

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

I used the 350 grain pre lubed Max-Hunters for years in my T/C White Mtn Carbine with great results.

I'm shooting a T/C OMega now and have been using a bullet/sabot combination ever since.

post this on the muzzleloading forum and about 60 people will help you and muzzleloading makes their world go around so they know whats up. but dont be scared of sabots because hornady sst's out of a shotgun and tc shockwaves out of my omega have taken my three biggest bucks and they never went more than 40 yards

It's good to hear that you like the powerbelts.
