A friend of mine swears by a "buck roar" call. He's been hunting for 20 some years and I trust his judgement. I'm not sure if he uses Primos or some other brand. He claims it'll bring deer in when a normal grunt call won't. I've never used one myself, for what it's worth.

Go with the M.A.D one. A little bulky but it is awesome.

I have used the primos call for two years now and cannot find anything to complain about it.
I like it over the other brands because it has a snort wheeze built in with the roar, on top actually.
It does not take alot of air pressure to blow this call.

I don't agree, the MAD sounds "quaky" when blown very hrd at all, it just can't reproduce the authentic sounding, realistic tones of the Primos Buck Roar.

Dont blow so hard. To each there own, I have had awesome success with the M.A.D call. If you watch the dvd that comes with it and blow like they instruct you to, its fine.

I, too, will swear by the primos buck roar. Sounds great and I've had tons of response with it over the past three years. Definitely suggested!

Love the Buck Roar. Used it to bring in a giant buck this year. In fact, he roared back at me so loud, I grabbed the tree behind me.

The Primos Buck Roar is the only call I depend on. You can blow it easy to make nice grunts that can be heard from a long distance. I find most other grunt style calls are not loud enough. I have called in several bucks with the Buck Roar and it is my main call.

The buck roar is great... until temperatures drop. This call freezes up really bad, but other than that it is awesome.
