I just bought one of these - ameristep turkey stopper.. I hunt off the ground (no blind) and my back cant take sitting against a tree for hours on end.. It seems quite comfortable so far..

specs says it weights 5 lbs.. but it feels much lighter..

Actually - my back can not take those sack type chairs anynore and I use this. Gives me far better back support.

Has several positions which one can take real comfortable naps.
And neck support to which can be flipped back. Liked them so much I bought 2 more at a NWTF dinner in a silent raffle.....

Don't make much noise - are rather water resistant, has a cross bar on the bottom that helps one from sinking in muddy ground.

Little big to carry but on those long sits - well worth the extra effort.

I am 6'5" and 250 or so.....
