remington chair blind
#2
I bought two of them, one for me and one for my dad. I haven't used it yet but my dad loves his. He has used for bowhunting(x-bow) and muzzleloader seasons and didnt have any problems with it. I plan on using mine some in the next couple of weeks. For the price I don't think you can go wrong and it is actually an Ameristep blind sold under Remington's name.

If they are anything like the Ameristep I have you won't regret spending that 50 bucks - trust me. I like mine plenty.
I weigh a bit more than the average guy and I've seen the weak links in those types of bag chairs over the years. We get lots of them left behind on our soccer fields all the time - with busted rivets in the hinged leg tubes. I drilled out all the rivets and replaced them with SS 10-24 screws, copper washers and nylon lock nuts.
Nice to keep you out if it rains (could also be used at sporting events or fishing). I find it keep you warm on really cold days too by kinda holding your body heat in and busting the wind.
Nice and easy to pack and carry. I use a straight shooting stick in mine and shot a deer a long way out last year.

I sat in one yesterday morning. It rained steadily for about an hour and I stayed nice and dry. It keeps the wind out pretty good too. Take it home and set it up in your garage or outside for a few days to get the "new" smell out of it before you hunt.

No. There's no rear window. There are side windows but even if there were a rear window, I don't know how you would turn around in the chair to shoot. If you have a site where you need that kind of flexibility, you should get a pop-up blind and some kind of swivel seat that's not attached to the blind. You'll need a shooting stick for either case. The chair blind is best suited for looking in one direction. There are sites where this is best. No blind is going to be ideal for every situation.
