Default Sleeping Bags

I'm going whitetail/black bear hunting in the Catskill Mountains in Upstate NY in mid-to late December. We're going to be camping for three or four days and I'm looking for a new sleeping bag. I had an inexpensive 0 degree mummy bag made by Field and Stream, but my friend's dog pissed on it and then I accidently lit it on fire drying it out before I froze. The dog will not be coming this time, so I'm looking to buy a better bag. I don't know if it was the burn hole or what, but I froze my butt off that night. In addition, I'm a little on the large side, so mummy bags are a bitch for me to zip closed. I think I'm going to need a rectangular one. Any suggestions? I'm looking to spend <$200.

Now that there is funny. LOL!

Sorry, can't help about the sleeping bag issue, but hearing about yours was a laugh!
