I will never waste my money on another mini maglight. I bought a Surefire G2 (I think) about a year ago and havent looked back. I am a HVAC Service Tech and use it every day. It cost about $40 if I recall. Bright as my 4d Maglight (fullsize) and the size of the Mini.

okay my $.02.. go to Menards and get a 1watt or 2 watt Rayovac LED for $14. They are fantastic lights. I used them camping and they light up the forest for how small they are. I was so pleased with these i bought about 6 more and put them in the boats, cars etc... you can't beat them. They are alum, waterproof, and have a belt clip. they are on the smaller side about 7 inches long, and about .75" thick. Its all you will ever need. Now Cabelas and Gander both put their names on these light and jack up the price. Rayovac makes them. don't be fooled and just go to menards.

Walmart camping section has a small Coleman 115 Luminen LED light for $30. It takes 3 AAA batteries and will run 5 hours. This light is very bright and perfect for blood trailing in the dark too. It also has Red and Green LEDs that are a bit dimmer by rotating the lense ring. This is an awesome light for the money.

Checkout Surefire. I think they have some in the 30-40.00 range.
I've had mine for around 10 years and love it |
I have Surefires, Streamlights, Energizer, Duracell, Coast, Maglites. The one i have used the most the last couple years is the Mag-Lite LED XL50 it uses 3 aaa and will put out more light than most of the other ones i have. Only setback is it not adjustable. They are at Wal-Mart for around 30 bucks.
