i have garmin e-trex that a got off e-bay for 100 dollars.
it was used but they sold then for 179 dollars.

the only thing that scared the h out of me was when i came out of woods after dark in fall and it went dead on readings..

if you are under LEAVES on tree and its a cloudy night with storm coming, say your prayers.

it will jump in and out as you move into a better spot.

I use a Garmin GPS Map 60CSx. I think its the best outdoor wilderness Gps. Extremely accurate, works well in dense cover. Preplaning trips have never been easier. I would recommend this to any sportsman.

I also have this GPS unit along with an older Garmin 12xl.They are both excellent and Garmin's customer service is excellent.
