RE: under armor- worth the money?
I swear by it.....both the ColdGear and the HeatGear. I ref a few different HS sports, and whether it's football playoffs in November or baseball in the summer heat, they both impress me. A note with the cold gear....you can't rely on just that to keep you warm, and yes, the wind and rain will penetrate it, but I layer a good thermal over the tops and bottoms when it's cold out and I think it's the bomb. I also wear it on occasion when I have to work a jobsite and be outdoors in the colder months up here.
Any of you dissatisfied guys want to ditch your stuff...PM me. Larges or XL's. |
RE: under armor- worth the money?
keep your eyes out later in they year at re-sell shops like Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, or others in your area. i always get my Under Armour there at a fraction of the cost.
i wouldnt hunt without it. it works for me. |
RE: under armor- worth the money?
Wal-Mart carries Starter brand in mens wear, not camo but works realy good. only about $15 per piece.

i think its worth every penny

Under Armor is usually 100% synthetic fabrics. They'll keep you warm but they'll stink after a while. Overpriced IMHO.

I splurged on merino wool woolx last year. More comfortable then syn. I don't think ua 3 are warm. Will see see how these are. Bought them after hunting. Also these could be sewn. Not sure about some of the syns.

I've never been impressed by the quality of anything Under Armor sells. I suspect they use same materials as everyone else, stamps UA on it, and doubles the price at a minimum.
