I was looking at getting some ear muffs to replace the foam-type in-ear protection that I currently wear. I know the Walker's Game Ear is considered a very good product, but in researchign that, I came across the Woodland Whisper product. It seems to be a very similar product at a fraction of the cost. Does anyone have any experience with the Woodland ear muff?? How much differnt could it be from the Walker's product, so long as it protects my hearing and at least amplifies some sound, I think I'd be happy. I am not trying to hear squirrels walk 100 yards away or anything.

i use the woodland whisper hearing enhancer. it works pretty good, i haven't shot with them in my ears due to being paranoid about it muffling the muzzle blast as they claim.
