RE: Honda rubicon
no thanks. haha.
they've had old technology for a while IMO. Honda makes great machines, but IMO if i buy an atv its going to be fuel injected, and if not, its going to be old, why buy a 2003 ie a newer model atv without fuel injection? so you pay a premo price for a 2003 honda.....which you can buy probablya 1995 model just as good. Then resale in 1015yrs, everyone will want fuel injection and you'll be selling a carb'd atv? just my $.02

Here is a link to Kellys Blue Book of Motorcycle values. ATV's are listed.
Carb models have been around since Moby Dick was a minnow.I wouldn't hesitate getting a carb model. The wife has a 06 350 Rancher and it still has a carb. My 06 Rincon 680 is fuel injected.

Dude, I have an 03' rincon that has been abused severely....I just put the first set of brakes on it a couple months ago and changed the oil for the second time in 5 years....The oil looked new and I wouldn't take 5000 for it right now....If you can buy the bike for 2500 jump on it or let me in on the deal.....

Don't buy the hype about fuel-injection being "all that". A month ago, my carb'ed Ski-Doo SummitX 800 pulled a newer FI'ed Arctic Cathome. When FI dies, it really DIES.
Otherwise, my family owns Honda and Polaris ATVs - and the Hondas - though smaller, have consistently been the most trouble-free of the lot. Last longer, fewer dumb things going wrong, don't feel like you're driving a dump truck, and they'llrun all day on a tank of gas.

Can't go wrong with a Honda, even if it has been halfway taken care of before you get it.
I have an 04 Foreman and a 02 Recon for the wife, would not get rid of either one (the wife or the bikes [8D])
