I use Predator Camo, but have friends that swear by ASAT. Their patterns look much like my Predator Fall Brown, however I wear the Fall Grey by Predator mostly, due to lots of Popular and willows trees in my area. I think ASAT & Predator are very similar and totally believe in breakup vs blend for concealment. If no Predator, my choice would be hands down ASAT. They may not be the prettiest, but they really do work!
I would really be interested to get a up close look at the Deception by Predator...that is supoose to be an all season everywhere camo. (Since we have no local dealers, I have to order mine from out of province)

Edward,
Look in the bowhunting forums. Several users over there. There was a great thread about it last year, but I th8nk it got wiped out with the new forum change. Awesome stuff. I just bought the 3D suit, and although I only got to use it twice before the closer, I was very impressed. Check out there site: www.asatcamo.com
Hope this helps you out some.

I have the ASAT 3D suit and with cover you disappear in the woods. It' s no magic camo where you can sit out in the open and not get busted, but it does do a great job of breaking up your outline. Better IMO than those " photo" camos. I think they are made more for hunters than for game.

I have used ASAT since 1996 or 1997 ? (Been awhile) I love it.
As a hunter you have to get familiar with the idea that you are hiding your human outline from the keen eye of the wary deer. That said, IMHO there is no better pattern for accomplishing this task.
At the Eastern outdoor expo in Harrisburg, PA I spoke with the owners of the company to find out what happened to their products. When I purchased mine I bought it through Brigade Quartermaster' s catalog. After my initial purchase I could not find it anywhere, as BQ had dropped it from their line.
I told them that I was considering switching to " Natural Gear" . They both employ the same marketing tactics.
They told me that I should see them both side/side at a distance before I decide.
According to their salesman/owner, Nat. Gear still " blobs out" and gives away human outline at distances of about 100yds. Not Good!
As a hunter we are conditioned to believe that we need to look like a tree to hide from our game, when in fact we just need to hide our human form. So in the woods, the first time you wear ASAT, you may feel like you stand out, but believe me...you blend!
Just get the " leafy suit" then you can wear what you want underneath. Even today the deer/turkey/elk/etc. don' t have x-ray vision! lol
Good Hunting!

Great Camo which I have used on western bowhunts and conceals extremely well and was better made than 99% of the camo out there. They probably don' t have anywhere near the advertising bucks that Mossy Oak and REal Tree have so they don' t get the exposure and as a result because they are easier to find in stores everyone gets to look like a blob walking around in the woods. Predator camo is also great stuff as well as Nat Gear .

Edward.
ASAT is the only camo I will wear I have a ton of it from the 3d suit that you can wear whatever you want under it to their new buck swede jacket.
It is the only camo that I have used that will make you invisible in the woods and over the last 41 years I have tried a lot of the other brands.
I have had deer within touching distance and not seen me I have even had other hunters within a few feet of me and not even know I was there.
Give it a try you wont be dissapointed.

ASAT, ASAT, ASAT. You will not be dissapointed. The 3D leafy suit is great for any climate. Fits over heavy winter clothing and is very light for hunting in the warmer months, I live in Phoenix so that happens a lot. I hunt deer in WV and northern AZ, and in the desert near my house. I hunt javelina as well and turkey as well in both states and the ASAT camo works great in either environment.
