Default Cabela's Tree Stands ??

I've been looking at a couple of Cabela's climbers...was wondering if anyone any comments on either of these...

Pinnacle Plus X-t

or

Cable Elite SS Climber

Any opinions and/or comments are appreciated.....Thanks! <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

Not on those particular brands. I just bought a summit cobra for 219 from cabelas last fall. I love it. I did plenty of research before choosing a summit. Take a look at them. they are a little higher priced than some of the others but summit is a good quality stand. Quiet light and comfortable. I used it during gun season this year. I sat from sun up till sun down. Ohh, if you do get one be careful its easy to fall asleep in one. let me know how you make out.
Good luck

Catfish,

I bought the pinnacle last year when the footrest and shooting rest were a $30 option. Paid only 129 plus shipping.
There is a reason they are selling the whole package this year for $99.
I used it maybe 15 times and had a few problems. A weld holding a bolt head snapped while dissassembling it. Some nuts came loose and had to be retightened. It is pretty light but cumbersome to back pack. I use my ATV to haul it in so that doesnt matter to me.

I will recommend it if you want to use it for morning and/or evening hunts like archery season. I cant imagine sitting in it all day.

sincerely,
Mr.D
