I probably spend about $2000 a year. Last year was a little higher due to some expensive mounts, I probably spent $4000 last year.

I was wondering how much everybody spends on hunting gear a year to prove to my girlfriend that I spend no more than the next guy on hunting.
How about giving me a number, and I'll say higher or lower.

If she is already complaining about YOUR hunting and how you spend YOUR money, it is time to move on.

Last year I must have spent between $2200-2300 on hunting gear. Of course that included a Benelli SBEII and new elctronic dog training collar, which aren't an every year purchase. Year in and out it's probably $800 for equipment, clothing, etc. for hunting..
