you guys may laugh but i have a 2005 yamaha bruin 250 but i'll tell you what for a small 4 wheeler it goes almost anywhere, it is lightweight and easy to load in my truck also being small can get through some tight areas in the woods it does what i need it to do but everyones needs are different so i guess its all about what your going to do with it

Won't catch me laughin'! I think that is all ALOTof guys need. It's just their egos that won't allow it.

Small, light, manuverable, good on fuel. That works for me.

LOL I must have bought well back in 1995 because my 95 Kawie 400 4x4 is still running and is still 100% trouble free. Full time 4wd...an actual shiftable tranny...simplicity at its finest. If I bought new I would consider everything but the Polarises. Honda would be my 2nd choice. I could care less about flash.....give me function!

I would just like to know how many deer have been hauled and just how many miles this thing has..lol. Still runs and looks new.

Bottom line...whatever ya buy..treat it with respect, service them well and they will give you more years of service than most would believe.

Very good luck with Yamaha and Honda.

My family has had one of each (at different times) for at least 10 years,
we did not treat them with TLC, we hunt in smampy conditions and used
to mudride a lot, and other than routine maintenance and the occassional small problem, both never gave us trouble. The Yamaha was a Moto-4 200 (probably about 1985), and I think the Honda is a 1995 Fourtrax 400.
We still have the Honda as back up to a Mule and it still runs.

Honda will longer have the 350 Fwd they now have the 420 Fwd. If you could find a 350 that has not sold yet you could most likely get it for a decent price.
