best shooting sticks
 

i'm interested in recommendations for the best shooting sticks for standing, sitting and kneeling shots. thanks for the input.

I just baught a pole cat Stony Ridge Hiking pole from Cabelas, I love it
It has other accesories for shooting as well as camera and spotting scope attachments. Snow tip also. O BTW this one is not cheap but is guide approved and worth every penny

Stoney point. I have a pole cat not the sticks, works for sitting/kneeling. It is light and works very well.

Home made. Easy and inexpensive....costs nothing.

I use a camera tripod with the V rest from a shooting stick. Been using this for years. I can hold rock solid from the sitting position. I tied a rope on it and carry it on my back. Its very adjustable and works great.

Tripod looks a bit bulky. I have the Stoney Point Safari's. They work pretty well. Certainly better than no rest. The belt pouch they came with was cheaply made and I had to make a new one.

I made my own. Ripped two sticks into 1/2 in sq sides, drilled holes and bolted together.
Took 3 deer in '05 and one in 06 using them.

Brought a pair of stoney pointsfor a hunt in Wyoming and Montana. They were bulky to carry (like I didn't have enough gear), they were in my opinion flimsy (they were the ones you can use standing) and they got tossed the first day. I ended up shooting two deer prone using my small pack as a rest (one at 165 yards and the other at 175 yards). I strongly suggest you try them out b/f you buy.

I have used the Stoney Point and found them to be a good product.
