in a .243 caliber. I've seen some savages for 260, I've always heard the word savage when it comes to guns.

Well for the price that Wally World has on them, you can't go wrong and it is a goodshooting rifle!
Thought I would never say that, cause I have 5 Rugers, but we have to be realistic at times!

Chuck Norris does not teabag the ladies. He potato-sacks them.

Chuck doesn't need a gun to hunt deer. he only tells them to come to him then he punches them in the heart and kills them. remember, the chief export from chuck norris is pain.

well that just depends on how much you want to spend. The savages are great shooting guns for there money. The new ones now come with the accu-trigger which is fully adjustable to make a clean crisp trigger pull. But if ya want to spend a little more money try one of these all can be bought in a .243: Rem. 700, Win. 70, ruger m77 mk II. these are all awsome choices the prices range in them from probably $379-$750. hope this helps.

oh yeah man. I may get one or I may get hte 260 dollar one. I like the adjustable triggers. I have one on my 7mm. I just think I will enjoy shooting a 243 more because it doesn't pack quit as much of a wallip as a 7mm and when your up in a stand I tend to get kinda nervous shooting a hard kicking gun. Plus the ammo is a bit cheaper.

I must admit, I'm partial to Winchester 70's, but Savage is a fine gun for the money!

Savage puts out some good firearms. I've had a couple and had no trouble with them.
