My only advice is usually you get what you pay for. Having said that I am totally disappointed in the quality of Columbia wear. You will pay way too much for the quality in Columbia. I have a wader jascket and a parka from Columbia and the seams come apart like they use poor thread or poor workmanship. I also have two parkas from Cabelas and they are getting some age on them and yet are still very serviceable. Cabelas stand behind their merchandise also.

Check out (The Sportsman's Guide) online. They sometimes have some pretty decent buys on clothing, etc. and they have a 100% money back guarentee on the products they sell.

They don't give prices for their chothing on their website, but I think they have the best deals out there!! I just ordered a Scentblocker Plus Northernlite Jacket and bibs and paid $50.00 less than I would have paid out of Redhead or Cabelas. Check out the prices of their other gear and you'll see what I mean!
Good luck and good hunting!!

Lots of them out there. Agree in the quality vs. price and some of them like browning are very proud of their merchandise. Now you can clink on the following link to see some of the onliners. http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...nting+clothing Also if you like Walmart then go to www.walmart.com

I just bought the Gamehide Compound jacket for $100. It's a midweight, waterproof, hood, etc... It was selling for about $150 at one of the national stores. To supplement on cold days, I bought a fleece jacket from Target for $14. Not bad at all. You will pay more if you buy a jacket that comes with a liner-- buy it separately and save.
take care.

I have been very happy with all the gear I have gotten at www.sierratradingpost.com Just gave a pair of the 10X Shakira Cloth GoreTex bibs a workout last Saturday, great results! And for $129.00 I thought it was a good deal. They have a no ? return policy as well. If you know what you are looking for and have time to shop just keep checking back and sooner or later they will have it for as much as 75% off retail.
