I am looking for a new scope for one of my rifles. I had about decided on a Nikon monarch 3-9x40, but am now looking at the Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40. The Zeiss is about $150 more than the Monarch. I have heard some great things about the Zeiss, but was wondering if they are worth the extra $ over the Monarch.

IMHO the ONLY reasonably priced scope on the market that can hold a candle too the Monarch is the Conquest. Anything else and I would say, "Don't bother"!

It sounds like the Zeiss Conquest is the talk of the town. I’ve looked at them but have never used one in the field. That extra $150 might be a good investment. Good luck in your choice.
