NAP Pelvic saw

RE: NAP Pelvic saw
I had been just using the small saw blade on my pocket style knife but recently opted for purchasing an entire butchering kit. It makes cutting through the pelvic bone a breeze.

I have used a Wyoming Saw for several years . . . I'd put it up against any thing else on the market. It's a little heavier that others but well worth the effort.
We don't cut the pelvic arch until after we get our deer back to camp; with our elk, we quarter without gutting so it is not necessary to cut through it.

$10 folding pruning saw from lowes that doubles as a limb saw when I use my climber.
Works great great for field dressing. I just slice down to the bone with my knife and it only takes a few strokes on each side.
