I am experienced in dog training for pointing dogs and obedience. I use a positive praise approach to dog training because it has been my experience, and the opinion of most experts, that to effectively train a dog you must get the dog working to please you, the handler.
I currently have kennel space for one dog.
The exact commands and level to which the dog will be trained is up to the owner. All ages of dogs are welcome.
Cost of training is $5 a day plus cost of materials (food, live birds used, etc...).
Please post a reply here with any questions you have and I will post answers.
If you are interested in having me train your dog please feel free to email me.

I am not familiar with the "Master Hunter Title." I am more familiar with the NAVHDA Standards and I guess that is more a basis for the training I do. I will look into the standards and then I can estimate how long it might take. Just by the name I would guess it would take quite a while depending where the dog was at to begin with.
I am willing to train a dog to whatever standard the owner is requesting keeping in mind two things.
1. The dog has to have the drive and instinct
2. It must be within reason
I can't train a dog to hunt without drive and ability any more than I can teach a dog to deal cards or fly!
Gozz21, do you have a dog you are interested in getting trained? What breed, sex, age, etc...
If you have any other questions please post again!
Thanks

After reviewing the standards I would estimate having to train for this spring and summer and depending on the dog the first part of fall. Maybe it wouldn't take that long but I don't want to undercut myself.
