Default the Vizsla Breed

I'm a pheasant hunting man. Have owned & hunted with many breeds in my decades of upland game hunting. Now have a Vizsla and really enjoy the breed. Wondering what others have to say about the Vizsla - good & bad???

I got my first vizsla three years ago after having labs my whole life. I have been nothing but pleased and entertained. Living in utah we have alot of grouse and chucker hunting, the pheasants are all but gone. I am trying to plan a pheasant hunt in your neck of the woods with some friends from florida. None of us have a clue where to go.
My vizsla (SABLE) is a female that i would like to bread to a good hunting male. She is a better hunting dog than i deserve i'm scared that all i could do is mess her up. Let me know how things are going with your dog.

I have judged a few in the 20 years of doing NAVHDA tests. I have seen some good dogs and some that I surely would not own.

But then again I have seen that in all the versatile pointing breeds.
