Pups & Started Labs and Shorthairs
#1
We have a couple litters of very well bred shorthairs on the ground right now and almost ready to go. All stud dogs and females are working guide dogs on a South Dakota Pheasant Hunting Preserve. We also have one litter of lab pups on the way. There should be yellows in this litter with the blacks. Parents are out of field champions.
Taking orders on only a few more started dogs for this fall. I will have a few shorthairs and three or four labs that will still be available if you are interested.
If you would like to know more about these litters or what the started dogs are doing feel free to call me at either 605-262-0844 or cell 605-395-7799.
Our version of a well started dog will be more then capable of giving you an honest days hunt in the field. They will have had 50+ birds already shot over them and will have most of their commands.
As far as the labs go if you want something done different if you are going to compete the dog I need to know that as early as possible. Depending on the dog and how much time I get with him I will either have solid gundog handling done or it will have been started. I do put the young retrievers through a different program when it comes to their handling if you are going to compete them in hunt tests or trials.
I normally have around 25 available through out the year and right before hunting season. Over half of these already have deposits on them and some of these will be sold as finished dogs sometime this year. The finished dogs average 2 1/2 years old.
If you would like more info you can contact me at 605-262-0844 or cell 605-395-7799.
