You are so full of it that if it wasn't so sad, it would be laughable..

I never said I was going to ask $1000 for my dogs, I was simply stating thatpups in the same lines "with certification" are going for that. Go on americanpointinglab.com and check out the classifieds theres plenty of Grits of Black Forest and Rik's Risky Raider lines for sale there, and I'm sure there's plenty of people out there with the same lines that agree those pups are worth every penny.
CNM- Centralnuclear Myopathy which is when the muscular tone of the œsophagus is weakened and leads to a megaœsophagus it can be seen seen easily on an x-ray
OFA on hips and everything else can be seen on an xray as well.
I'm not trying to make anyone look dumb, sometimes those people have a way of doing it all by themselves. You may know more about labs than I ever will, but I still wouldn't trade my dog for any other dog out there! She's a part of the family, she does everything I want her to in the field, and she lives a happy life and gets the attention she desires. If anyone desires what Doc calls a "backyard dog" that comes from some of the best lines out there I only have 2 left, but then again they are only "backyard dogs" The pups, do however, recieve hours of attention from my family and I each day and they will make great companions as well as hunters!

I'm sure it was an accidental typo on your part, but it's centronuclear myopathy. It has nothing to do with the esophagus or megaesophagus.
It cannot be diagnosed by xray. It can only be diagnosed with a genetic (special DNA) test. Dogs can be Affected, Carriers or Clear.
You just proved my point. How stupid do you feel now>

If you REALLY want to learn something about CNM, go straight to the source (the people that do the CNM testing), the Alfort School of Veterinary Medicine in France (where the samples are sent for testing).
Start out at www.cnmlabrador.com and go from there.
Learn before you speak and you won't look like such an idiot.

Heres a pretty good source about CNM http://cnmlabrador.vet-alfort.fr/pages/site/0-Addition/Clinics_affected.htmlif anyone is interested in learning more about it. Im finished arguing with someone that claims to have credentials but has nothing to back it up other than a sign in name of Doc! Oh and this website was posted by that same Alfort school that you claimed knew everything about CNM.

Gee, I just can't find the paragraph that talks about "espohagus or megaesphagus" (that YOU mentioned).
You'll have to help ,me out here and tell me where it is [8D][8D][8D]
As Moe or Larry or Curly would say, "Nyuk - nyuk - nyuk - what a maroon".

There are signs, symptoms and diagnostic tests. Many diseases have the same or similar signs and symptoms, but a genetic test is diagnostic. See the difference?
