Hog hunting with glow in the dark iron sights?

The title is pretty straightforward, I just wanted to know If a hog can see green glow in the dark sights.

I don't see how since the glowing dots are on the shooters side of the gun and not on the hogs side.

Hogs have very poor eyesight overall and it's generally their great noses they rely on for safety and finding food. If you plan on shooting hogs after dark that are coming into your corn feeder that you mentioned in your first post on here, I'd seriously be looking at putting a scope on the rifle or setting up a dim light system that is good enough for you to to see, but not bright enough to run them off when they come in. I'd even think of doing both unless you're only hunting them on bright moonlit nights.

The radio active Tritium sights like Mepro sights work very well in the dark, but there has to be enough ambient light to see the target. I have them on my duty handgun for 20 years and they worked very well. But you have to see more than your sights to shoot, you must see the target. The sights will work with a flashlight but they will not help in pitch dark.

I have a green spotlight attached to the side of my gun.

I would think that the brightness of the sights would wash out the shooters view of the target, especially in extreme low light conditions...

Well you would think wrong! Small dots of radio active Tritium is not a spotlight it is like your watch dial that glows in the dark.

So would glow sights be good with a green spotlight? And if so what color would y'all recommend?

Right it's glowing in front of your eye while you're aiming through them at your target. So in a low light situation explain how your eye is going to be able to make out the target over the glowing sights however faint they may be?

The human eye works best with green lights. The next best color is Red. Either of those will work for a spot light.
