Hogs have very poor eyesight overall and it's generally their great noses they rely on for safety and finding food. If you plan on shooting hogs after dark that are coming into your corn feeder that you mentioned in your first post on here, I'd seriously be looking at putting a scope on the rifle or setting up a dim light system that is good enough for you to to see, but not bright enough to run them off when they come in. I'd even think of doing both unless you're only hunting them on bright moonlit nights.

The radio active Tritium sights like Mepro sights work very well in the dark, but there has to be enough ambient light to see the target. I have them on my duty handgun for 20 years and they worked very well. But you have to see more than your sights to shoot, you must see the target. The sights will work with a flashlight but they will not help in pitch dark.

Right it's glowing in front of your eye while you're aiming through them at your target. So in a low light situation explain how your eye is going to be able to make out the target over the glowing sights however faint they may be?
