Default 5-27 Hog

I bought a new rifle and tried it out this weekend. I am having technical issues with it and I have to send it back to Remington. I was pretty excited to finally get a nice rifle, but have to send it back and have them fix it. But at least I got one more hog out of the woods. It's a Remington 700 CDL SF in 257 Weatherby.

That's a good hog! What bullet are you using in the 257?

What is wrong with the rifle that requires that you send it back to the manufacturer?

I was using the factory 100 grain Spitzer by Weatherby.

Either the headspace is messed up or there is a chamber issue. After I shoot I have to put all my weight on getting bolt to extract. And a bullet got stuck.

If that happened and you shot it more than one time knowing there was a problem, you're lucky your only issue is sending it back to Remington!
