Default Help for a Brit visiting the US next year

Hello everyone

I'm from the UK and I'm intending to visit the southern states in Feb-March next year for a month or so. I love my shooting over here and I am mega keen on getting some hunting done whilst I'm out on your side of the pond - either with rifle or shotgun (or ideally both!). I am also do some sporting journalism and have had a number of articles published in the shooting and fieldsports magazines here in the U.K.

Do you gentlemen know of anybody who might be able to take me out hunting or point me in the right direction? Equally, if you know of anyone that provides guided hunts and would like some publicity in the U.K. media then please get in touch.

Look forward to hearing from you.

All the best.
Rupert

Plenty of places in FL, GA, AL, MS, LA, AR, TX etc... that have year round hog hunts. Don't know of any deer seasons going on except for the FL panhandle. They can hunt deer until 01 Mar there but you can shoot exotics pretty much year round. Might be able to get into some waterfowl hunting as well. Best thing would to do a google search

Florida's turkey season also opens earlier than most in March. That time of year, though, you are probably mostly looking at predator hunting, maybe some late waterfowl seasons down on the gulf coast. Snow goose runs late in some areas (I think March 30 in Illinois, possibly similar farther south).

You might want to decide where you're going to visit first. There's a hunting season in every state and depending on the state the game can very.

Just looked at this member's profile. every post made has been an attempt to pimp Rockytop Ranch. To me that makes the member a spammer and I will report it as soon as I submit this post.
