Boars And Sounders
i often see multiple boars feeding with large sounders on wheat fields. Boars accompaning sounders may act differently at feeders: i seldom see them eat; they usually choose to wait some distance away.
This sow is Gnarly Momma and i have seen her and her brood many times on camera and in person. The number of pigs accompaning Gnarly Momma varies from 9-13.
The camera date is wrong:
1. Gnarly Momma comes to feeder pursued closely by a boar:
2. Gnarly Momma and boar:
3. Gnarly Momma and pigs feeding. Boar not in sight:
4. Continuing to feed, boar not in sight:
Hogs scatter at my approach. Boar visible:
