Default 1st Harvest of the Year

I was actually deer hunting and really haven't had any hog pictures in a few months. I was hunting this past Tuesday evening here in Florida when a good cold front was coming thru. At 530 I saw a doe, then shortly after, a button buck and doe followed. At about 555 they started to get skittish and constantly looking over shoulder. I could hear something moving the direction they were looking but had no idea what it was. At about 600 the deer left. I waited about 5 minutes and nothing else was coming out. It was about 10 minutes of light left at the point. I figured I'd pack up and leave. I lowered my gun down and then I was about to get down. As I turned around there was a sounder of about 8 including 4 or 5 piglets. They were really quiet and was really shocked I didn't hear them. So I sat back down and raised my gun back up. I didn't compare sizes of hogs and just shot one that gave me a clear had. Didn't really know the size until I got to him, then I was like crap.... need help loading him up in truck lol. All in all it worked out and was a great hunt. No bottom cutters but he looked like a warrior from his years. He went near 230-250lbs unofficially. Used Bisonarmory 6.8 and my 110 grain PH handloads.

I agree about the cutters. There were top cutters that were nice size, but yeah wish he had them all. Would have been a nice mount to go along with the other boar I got last summer.
