Default Coyote problem, NEED HELP

I hunt in SC and have seen a coyote on my trail cam a couple times. We don't really have a bad coyote problem but I want to take this one out. What would be my best approach? Traps? Calls? Or should I just not worry about it? I have a couple of pictures of him chasing deer and this is really the main reason I want him gone.

Where there is one, there are more.......................

Better to get after them now !!!

Dawn and dusk are your best times; set-up just as if you were deer hunting.

If you have a motion decoys that always helps, even if it's a stick with a turkey feather tied to it.

If you are going to call, start off softly.

They will come into your set-up from down wind - so try to leave a good opening down wind of your set-up.

They can be active during the day, but usually not nearly as much as early morning and evening.

if they is hungry, they is hunting. I prefer calling first and last light but that does not mean midday can't be just as productive.

I grew up in song dog country in CO and we kind of lived by the rule that for every one you see there are 8-10 you don't see. I seriously doubt you have a lone dog there. If it was me, I'd try to call it in. But be advised that if you call it in you'll have to be sure to kill it. If you don't it will be very difficult if not impossible to call it in again. These things learn quickly.

get a trapper who knows how its done, otherwise it will just get a PHD in how to avoid traps and hunters, they are not hard to trap if you know how

Ya'll don't read so awful good does ya?
the predator hunting section is still a couple sections down.
A coyote is a predator not a deer or even a hog.

I will post the link again. You have to left click on it.

I used to view coyotes as more of an exotic species around here.
Now I reserve that distinction for armadillos.

Give the OP a break. He's brand new to the site and it's nice to see him making posts, regardless of where it is and whether it suits you!
