soaking the meat you will use the next day in milk(overnight in the fridge.) It does take a lot of the gamie out...of deer meat. It should help a little on hogs as well I assume.

The place where we hunt hogs in Georgia recommends on the larger boars that you soak in a cold solution of water (65-75%) and vinegar (25-35%) for 24-48 hours. It sure helped this 260 pounder taste better.
